Fossil Seen Through Microscope

“A person can get a little overly confident. Sometimes you see something and think, “oh it’s just a tiny little scrap of bone, it’s not important”, and then you start working around it and realize it’s a little bone or a tooth that belongs to another animal that just kinda fell into place while everything was fossilizing. So it takes a lot longer than people think.”
